An Annotated Bibliography
The journalist Linda Burghardt’s research is timely, descriptive and well researched. Yet, she limits her researching on learning a foreign language at elementary on school personnel and fails completely to involve parents in the process. The researcher could achieve a lot by asking parents whether they wished to let their children learn another language at an earlier age or not. Perhaps, they could even be of help in solving the problem. The arguments are one-sided with no acknowledgement of other viewpoints.Â In general, the article is objective and very accurate. College students can use this source to develop their research projects further. It gives ready facts and it can be compared with other sources for an in-depth understanding of the subject area.
